Trick or Treat!

It’s the time of the year where the weather is getting colder and children are deciding which character they want to embody for Halloween. Since the fright season is upon us I thought I would talk about a central theme for Halloween, fear. There is an interesting thing about fear. It doesn’t feel good, yet it has an intention behind it, keeping you safe. However, can fear keep you restrained from reaching your highest potential? Yes. Using the FasterEFT presumed truth that it’s all made up, we can discover how to cut the metaphorical strings that keep us dancing like a puppet to fear. Instead, we can begin to shift our reality to what we want.
What are your fears? Begin by examining what it is that you resist in your life. Concentrate on how you know that you have this fear, instead of why you have it or where it came from. Notice how you know that you have it, then, tap on the proofs, memories, and feelings that support it. We represent fear inside us and only when we disrupt the patterns are we able to get something different.
I remember my father had told a story about him watching a suspenseful movie with some occasional frights in it. He was tapping all the way through it as it bothered him. It is interesting that when we destroy all the emotional representations that support our fears, we arrive at logic. So, this Halloween give yourself a treat and quit tricking yourself into old programs by eliminating the fear in your life that holds you back from getting what you truly want!

  1. And a note for those of us who ask why and try to figure out how to force changes with our conscious minds, let logic be a tool you use AFTER you deal with the feelings. You cannot "logic" your way out of the hurt.

  2. Well said Janie. You don't know any other way to be until you change your references and that begins with going inside and addressing each supporting memory. Thanks for reading and posting!
